Derasnya aliran Sungai Nimanga, Desa Timbukar, Minahasa, Sulawesi Utara, memang tiada dua.

The rushing stream of Nimanga River, Timbukar Village, Minahasa, North Sulawesi, is genuinely incomparable. While enjoying the opiate of accumulated adrenalin, both eyes were made powerless to enjoy a series of presented scenery. Starting from a high cliff, shady trees to rows of rocks around the river.
“15 people, 9 kilometers, 3 inflatable boats, 2 hours, and a story”
The statistics above became slight beginning and end related to the recorded rafting activities. Once being curious about Rock Climbing activity in the village of Kilometer tiga (kilo 3), now a van being rode immediately drove to the starting point for rafting activity.
Lucks seemed to be on our side, got on time to our destination was one of them, so we could hurry to set foot on towards the round table and first eating before getting starving. Why was that so, it was a simple answer, because rafting was an activity that could burn calories in great numbers, and nutrients of the digested food is changed into energy. (Sort of information for people are suffering from obesity) hahahaha.
Although almost every river in Java has been used as spot for pursuing adrenalin with various rafting operators, it is different when you\'re on Nimanga River, Timbukar village, Minahasa, North Sulawesi. The rafting organizing operators can be easily counted.
Reaching the 4th grade of river level, did not break the spirit halfway, whisperings of defeat wasn’t heard anymore. Life vest, helmet and paddles in the hands. As the starter after all has been rigidly fixed, the rafting guide immediately provided direct guidance in the form of tips and trick facing the cascade in the message on ‘safety first.’
Excessive water discharge made the pace of the inflatable boat that we boarded was able to drive smoothly. In the first cascade the ritual for moving paddle forward and backward directly modeled according to the instructions of the skipper.
Even the cascades in this place were given a unique name; there was Good Bye!, Superman, Tornado to the Golden Gate. Each cascade has different characteristics and sensation at the time it was being passed. The most cascades stuck in the heart, none other than Superman cascade; the boat as if flied like superman who recently adorned the storefront of almost all theaters in Indonesia. Unfortunately there was no name of his compatriot, Batman, in this place, because bats were only filled dining tables of the surrounding community using the name ‘Paniki.’
Right in the middle of the trip, we who had been fighting with the cascades were invited by the skipper to see directly the manufacture of special beverages of North Sulawesi, Cap Tikus. This popular beverages with the term of CT, since long ago has been popular among Minahasa farmers. For them it was not liquor drinks, every single shot they consumed meant the increased spirit, so as with the next shots.
Heavy rain accompanied our steps while continued the trip; the falling rain brought a message that coldness was prepared to penetrate the body; did not want it to approach, moving the paddles forward simultaneously was being a cue that was often heard during the rest of the trip. All participants used the second stopping-time as good as possible by; the cliff of about 5 meters high being the place of jump-leap alternately carried out.
Sort of victory celebration, or satisfaction to be able to set foot on this city with life’s philosophy of Si tou timou tumou tou (New human can be called a human, if they can humanize human). The finish line had been passed despite the adrenaline was in the highest position. While covered by rain, sitting in a pickup truck rolling the desire to simply share the exciting stories in each version, and this activity was ended by eating fried banana with sambal roa as the sauce that was incomparable.
